We had a lot of fun for Spring Break this year. School was out March 15-19 so we decided to get out of the Dallas area. This was our first time away since we moved here in June. We took a road trip to San Antonio and stopped in Austin on the way. We went to Zilker Park. It was a lot of fun. This park had a huge playground, train that goes around the park, swimming area, conoes to rent, frisbee golf, volleyball and more. We let the kids play on the playground for a while and took the train ride. It was so beautiful there. The grass was green and there were trees everywhere. The kids loved it but their favorite part of Austin was swimming in the pool at the hotel. They swam that night when we got to the hotel and the next morning until we had to get ready to check out.

Austin was beautiful, unfortunately, I got sick Monday night so we weren't able to explore as much as we wanted on Tuesday. We went straight to the hotel in San Antonio where I slept the day away and Gerrit and the kids explored the hotel. Thankfully, I was all better on Wednesday so we could go to Sea World!!!
