What can I say about Jackson??? He is this amazing bundle of energy/love/cuteness/intelligence all rolled into one little boy. This year he has grown in so many ways. He turned 8 and was able to be baptized over Thanksgiving. We are so thankful that our family from far away were able to visit and spend this special time with us. Jackson was a second grader this year. It was the first year he received letter grades and got all A's, except one B third quarter. He started Cub Scouts and is loving earning belt loops and beads. He will attend his first Twilight Cub Camp in a couple weeks. Jackson has continued to play soccer and is a very good midfielder. He is very fast so he can get back and defend very quickly. One of the highlights of his soccer season was scoring a goal on a corner kick, which is very difficult. This summer Jackson is swimming on a swim team for the first time and learning all 4 swim strokes. We are proud of Jackson and all his accomplishments this year.
Our most recent trip to the beach. Jackson got stung by a jelly fish. Soaking his hand in salt water really helped.
1st Pinewood Derby car. He was so proud of it. I think he liked working with his dad most of all.
1st night of cub scouts.
Christmas. Jackson was really into Santa this year and wanted to look like the jolly old elf.
Jackson's baptism day!!! He loved it!!!
I guess these got out of order...This is Jackson dressed as a monkey for his grade level play. He did a really good job!
Gerrit and Jackson before the baptism.
Just some pics I really liked!!!
Jackson with his Writing Award. He is quite the writer. He wrote a persuasive letter to me this year to get a hamster. It was so good, he got that hamster. :)
