Christmas Morning

This year, Christmas was on Sunday.  We had church at 9am so we decided the kids could open their stockings and two presents before church.  They had to save the rest for after.  It was really nice because it made the day last longer.  We started the day at 6am and had a nice breakfast before church.  Here are some of the highlights.

Yeah Santa!  We love our full stockings!!!
Jackson thought it was a little strange that he got a loofah in his stocking. Hey, Santa knows what we need. ;)
Skittles looks so mad that she didn't get anything.
Another tradition is Gerrit (and the kids now) gets me funky things for my stocking.  This year I got coconut, broccoli and some funky fruit.  It's one of my favorite things.  I really look forward to it each year.
Juliana and I made Reindeer Rootbeers for Gerrit.  (Thanks Pinterest)  They were a lot harder to do than they look, because of the hot glue.
Juliana enjoying her bounty Christmas morning.
 Jackson loves his new chair.
Juliana opening her U-draw for the Wii.  Thanks Grandma!
.....of course she loves her itunes gift card.
Jackson's favorite game.  Thanks Aunt Steph and family.  We've played this non-stop since getting home.

We had a great Christmas.  We are grateful to our Heavenly Father for all the blessings he's given us this year.  We were able to have a lot of great experiences this Christmas that involved learning the meaning of giving and service.  We focused more on our Savior, Jesus Christ, and tried to remember what Christmas is all about.
